I will let my critical side come out. The Color announcer he went to Princeton or coach at Princeton ( it was mentioned in the beginning) he was taking shots at us all night. If you want me to be really honest I don't think them letting go of the bats were an accident either. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
You play baseball and it was let go three different occasions. He let go of the bat on the final out on the last strike! Come on what are the odds?
We were down 3-2 after the 7th and their pitcher was dealing. Announcers were awful (especially when one of them said "I know we're not supposed to be biased, but I hope this guy gets a win or no-decision"), but saying we survived isn't a giant jump of logic with us being behind in the last 3 innings.
Good, tough win. On another note, I don't think that I could tell you what the strike zone was tonight with a gun to my head.....
Yea at least 1 that I recall. You may be right about the humidity.
Crowd was LIVE tonight. On post game, Bab said the Arizona coach met him for coin toss and was so impressed with the atmosphere he wants to come back this fall to learn from us about creating atmosphere. Pretty cool
Sadly, I have to make the drive back to Gonzales tonight for an event tomorrow. Then coming back tomorrow afternoon.
At least, I'm not driving.
Spent some time with Gov Christie after the game--His son and wife were with him and his son will catch tomorrow
I told him that if they play us again that Sensley can't hit the fastball down the middle!!! lol He said that the ball was still rising when if left the park!! Told him that I hope he is the next AG!!!
Princeton is scrappy in every sport!
8 straight regional wins for the Cajuns
