For The Advocate boycotters, there is nothing offensive in this piece. And in keeping with the theme of the article, some things are more important, and I think you'd enjoy reading it.

What a good way to start regional Friday!!

--Nomination for story of the year---I, along with my teammates in the 60s and players of the 70s had a great friend like this in BJ Blackjack Landry (equipment manager) whose statue stands in the end zone seating at Cajun Field---For you LSU non likers, he once said that he would pull for Russia over LSU---btw his family were huge Tulane Alumni and backers!!!

I don't know how our next closer is going to live up to his two predecessors. You have Matt Hicks who is nearly killed while riding a bike as a kid, who struggles with surgeries and a permanent bad back, still has a great outlook and attitude and sets school records all while maintaining a high GPA then goes to dentistry school after graduating. Then you go to Dylan Moore who is a 4.0 pre-law/Spanish double major with tremendous work ethic and just a great person who is more likely to leave school early because he graduated rather than accepting an MLB contract offer.
