Well Dugas came out swinging.....Weathermen are just plain terrible at their craft. I know I've mentioned that in tons of my posts, so you can understand that I despise them. It's a crap shoot and they have not a clue at what to predict. I LAUGH at every "Extended" forecast given each week. I've seen the Weather projections directly effect football crowds because of their blindfolded forecast.

My honest opinion is to get rid of all weather people and just have satellites. No one giving percentages and the rest of the crazy jargon. Just keep an active radar channel available at all times for people to use and make their own educational guess.

It is really not fair to say "weathermen are just plain terrible at their craft" then go and ____ on the craft. Meteorologist are just making predictions off of data, trends and models. Sometimes it is a lot easier to predict than others. Sometimes it is just a crapshoot but a lot of times it's not. Unless you can hop on a time machine and go into the future, it will never be 100% accurate. I think in most cases it is better to plan for the worst.

Nah....they are terrible. No sugar coating it. Just my opinion. It's the extended forecasts that they just need to lay off of for a while, it can be absolutely horrendous.

How is Dugas "tournament director" if NCAA is in charge of everything?

I would imagine the NCAA needs a person from the university to help them with whatever they need.

There will be an NCAA rep on hand that will handle decisions such as when to suspend or resume play.

As the tournament director, John is the go to guy for the tournament itself, specifically within the ball park. And that includes a LOT of things.
