With all 16 regionals in the south/southeast, at least everyone else will be dealing with the weather too

Yep, we may have regionals going into Monday and those not just be if necessary game 7s.

We might have a lot of waiting around this weekend. It's not a large amount of rain forecasted. But thunderstorms produce lightning which we know delays games.

FYI, I've pasted this forecast and it looks great on the screen. I'm guessing now that when I post it'll look like ____.

    Friday 06/03 82 | 72 °F
    Friday 80 % Precip. / 0.26 in
Thunderstorms. High 82F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

    Friday Night 80 % Precip. / 0.28 in
Thunderstorms. Low 72F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 80%.

    Saturday 06/04 82 | 71 °F
    Saturday 90 % Precip. / 0.28 in
Thunderstorms. High 82F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

    Saturday Night 60 % Precip. / 0.08 in
Variable clouds with scattered thunderstorms. Low 71F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 60%.

    Sunday 06/05 87 | 71 °F
    Sunday 80 % Precip. / 0.2 in
Scattered thunderstorms in the morning becoming more widespread in the afternoon. High 87F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 80%.

    Sunday Night 30 % Precip. / 0.05 in
Partly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms possible. Low 71F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 30%.

    Monday 06/06 88 | 70 °F
    Monday 60 % Precip. / 0.12 in
Variable clouds with scattered thunderstorms. High 88F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 60%.

    Monday Night 20 % Precip. / 0 in
Some clouds early will give way to generally clear conditions overnight. Low near 70F. Winds light and variable.

These weather people and their satellites are garbage.

    Here's my forecast:

    Summer Weather to be expected
    Afternoon shower to be expected
    Butt sweat to be expected

    Tis the season guys......

I turn off the weather now when it comes on....unless it's ginger zee or her stand in when she was out prego.

Remember if you are looking at the extended forecast for the day. That just means there is a 90% chance there will be rain that day, not that it will rain 90% of the day. Also they can not forecast what the weather will do tomorrow, how do you expect them to get 3 days from now?

    Still praying for global warming.

Wasn't it supposed to rain a lot Thursday and Friday of the SB-C tournament? How'd that turn out?

To the forecasters credit, it did rain a ____ ton in Texas prior to last weekend. The rain was just mostly to the north and east of San Marcos, but didn't miss them by much. I drove through a deluge on the way there on Friday.

And they are still dealing with it. Catastrophic level flooding. We can give the forecasters hell all we want but ultimately in this day and age they are more right than wrong. Bottom line is South Louisiana is going to see rain this weekend. Hopefully that small tiny area called the Tigue isn't one of them but I'd be more than happy with a few close storms that provide cloud cover and no rain.

Read something a while back that forecasts 3-5 days out are generally very good. It's the 5+ days out where the accuracy goes down.

They'd call em fivecasts if they could get them accurate that far out. Heck Andre... forecasts are like foreskins... whether you got one or not... if it's meant to get wet... it's meant to get wet.
