No doubt it is frustrating that the illegal pitch is looked at much more closely in the postseason. Consistency is needed and this needs to change. But it does not change the fact that Stewart is illegal on many of her pitches (some more obvious than others) ... regardless of whom is chirping in the umpire's ears.

Either Cajun pitchers are taught the hop is ok because it most likely won't get called, the proper technique is not emphasized during practice or during the season because of lack of detail to the proper form or Coach Mike is a hated man and has ______ed off several people in this country (softball wise) because this has happened every year since Mike has been involved with the program. I don't recall this happening during Girouard era.

Either way......It sucks that it is so one sided.

During the regional, I expressed my frustration to myself with a popup that Corbello had. The next time she came up with runners on base. I said a prayer and promised to never express frustration, even to myself, at another Corbello popup. Guess what? I'm standing by my promise. I believe we win this game.

Frick the illegal pitch. She would have been out already and she was given another chance. And it seems every time an illegal pitch is called on Alex, she concentrates so hard on the proper form and not on pitch location...gives up a base hit or worse.
