Either Cajun pitchers are taught the hop is ok because it most likely won't get called, the proper technique is not emphasized during practice or during the season because of lack of detail to the proper form or Coach Mike is a hated man and has ______ed off several people in this country (softball wise) because this has happened every year since Mike has been involved with the program. I don't recall this happening during Girouard era.

Does not matter. The fact is that many of Stewart's pitches are illegal (and obviously so) and she needs to get it fixed ... even if it does not get called next Spring. And as much as I loved Brignac ... when she got called for it, it was legitimate.

Meanwhile, the folks that have been claiming on this thread that Parker is illegal (i.e. the other team is doing it) ... they are wrong. She has been legal on every pitch since the third inning.

Alex is a very, very good pitcher but not an elite pitcher. Sooners continue to pound the ball. Cajuns need to find another elite pitcher or two to go along with the offense if we want to ever have a chance to win it all.
