I think That is a flawed narrative. Why sit on our hands? Will anyone take a hard look at older p-5 bowls and see if That Was really the saturation, banning new Was lazy way to solve the problem.

I had figured all the tie-ins had been sewn up. Obviously I was wrong.

Not sure who the recent tie in was, but this was the bowl game that featured two mountain west teams last year, so I am sure they wanted to avoid that if they wanted this bowl to work.also it was not on tv (online only)
