I will agree with one of the points I think you were making which is our team is not an offensive juggernaut this season. Most of us have come to terms with that.

The point I'm making is that this team -- for at least the last two years -- has been horrible at hitting off-speed pitching.

Well then say just that... No reason to ___ on a good pitcher... We can't hit... He can pitch... He would also be the 3rd best hitter on our team

Geisler is good, no doubt, but we are going to face pitchers with better stuff than this guy has in the post season. This is good prep for regionals for us, we need to figure out how to match their intensity and prepare to face great pitching.
