Anyone hear Dan whispering "yahtzee" to himself a few innings ago? LMAO!
I've never controlled computer graphics, but I can't imagine it's as difficult as whoever is responsible for keeping track of the balls and strikes on the sunbelt feed
Blame Dan
He was channeling the character "Brick" from the television show " The Middle".

I am of the opinion that Dan may be deliberately using the term "UL Lafayette" routinely simply to throw it back in the face of those who have been continuously beating him down, criticizing him and throwing it in his face.
However, what is so disappointing is the fact that he was a long time SID here at this University and should be aware of how the fans feel about the name issue more than any other broadcaster out there. The reason I think it is a deliberate act on his part is because he could easily substitute "Ragin Cajuns" or simply "Cajuns" when referring to the team, rather than his continuous use of "UL Lafayette". Even if the Sun Belt instructs him not to use "Louisiana" during the SBC broadcasts, there are other acceptable references that are available. But he apparently would rather irritate Cajun fans than work with the University and its fans to promote the school.
But they wouldnt have criticized if he didnt initially do it?? Is he also an alum?
Actually, since Dan works for the Sunbelt conference in this capacity, I'm sure he had to follow their rules and not simply refer to us as "Louisiana".
I can understand that.
However, why not "LOUISIANA-Lafayette", instead of just "UL Lafayette"? At least the way the ESPN softball announcer referred to us this past weekend sounded better, IMO.
Oh well.
I really don't give a ____ to be honest, let's just keep winning.
Again, the leadership from the university on this issue has been a damn clown car show, so there's no use getting stirred up.
