Nick Lee = SBC freshman of the year

For the past 3 years I have been telling people that Dylan Butler was also Freshman of the Year, he wasn't. I guess I was remembering Jay's article.

"FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR–DYLAN BUTLER–LOUISIANA
When you consider he led all Sun Belt Freshmen in RBI playing on a team that didn't score many runs, that's pretty impressive. He didn't hit for a great average, but slugged eight home runs playing most of his games in a pitcher's park. And, the most impressive thing about his numbers is, his league numbers and overall numbers were about the same, which means he was pretty consistent. There were several freshmen who could have gotten my vote here, but I'm going with Butler."

That's just recent recipients. We've had more Pitcher's of the Year previously. Surprisingly, no earlier Players or Freshmen than those listed.

It still irks me that Ridings with WKU beat out Osborne in 2010 for Pitcher of the Year, but that's just me being selfish. Ridings was great that year too
