Lineman don't run 40's...the guy coming at him isn't running a route... Left to right, front back, hips, foot work etc. he would get called for holding on almost every play or get your QB killed

True, but if you watch his film is pretty slow off the ball. If I were him I would lose as much as weight as possible and take up basketball.
