Officials Dedicate Facility at University of Louisiana Research Park

The $13.1 million CGI facility on the campus of the University of Louisiana is officially open for business following a ceremony Tuesday.

CGI already employs 250 technology workers in Lafayette and is recruiting candidates for more than 50 openings. Upon full employment, total annual payroll will exceed $22 million and LED estimates the project will result in an additional 405 permanent, indirect jobs for a total of more than 800 new jobs in Acadiana and surrounding regions.

It would be nice to see a picture of what the building looks like and what the Research Park now looks like with this addition. Then again, UL never seems to promote its facilities. Still trying to find a picture of the new T&F/Soccer facility and even an updated picture of the exterior of the new APC. Can't even find those on the athletic website.
