  1. UL Baseball Mr. Dependable: Cajun catcher Thurman's durability pays

Going into Houston game, UL senior Nick Thurman had caught every single inning of every single game this season

It cannot be understated how important Thurman has been to this team. Not only has he played EVERY game, he has been solid, and has come up in big spots offensively. He's an Ironman

My opinion wouldn't change even if doesn't get a single hit (not gonna happen) the rest of the season. Thurm has done an incredible job

    It's baseball. Everything is superstitious.

I'm not so sure he hasn't fallen off in protecting second base thefts. Successful stolen bases pretty high.

Anyone that shows up to a Cajuns game in a purple shirt cannot have any special power(s) ...

If he doesn't make it through the season it will be 100% because:

    1. He wore down from playing every inning at catcher OR
    2. A freak accident

and 0.00% due to a newspaper article.

However, I will now consult a voodoo priestess on what to do about Buckley.
