Perhaps there is a reason he was coaching high school ball when we called him.

Top 20 recruiting class coming in next year right? Hopefully we have some hitters in that group.

It needs to happen, it won't but it needs to happen. You don't have multiple guys regress like this by chance.
Wait, who was it before Deggs? I think whoever it was resigned half way through the year avert getting similar results as we have now. Deggs didn't do anything that year he came in at the end of the season if recall. The next season is when we looked like grown ___ men at the plate.

Trahan left to go support his family and make real money. Nothing wrong with that. Trahan was a good recruiter and so is Talbot...Deggs' attitude and mentality is what made those teams hit like that.

Trahan, yes I remember now. We were pretty terrible with the bat at that time as well. He got a real job to support his family because he was about to be out of his existing job?

I don't think it's a talent problem it's more of mentality with these guys...

I think it was kinda know he was leaving and it the season just kinda fell apart. He brought Trahan, Conrad, strentz,Compton, Leonard's here...and I'm sure I'm missing some bit yes deggs was here in an unofficial capacity at the end of that season when ulm drummed us. Just because are really good at buying groceries doesn't mean you can cook. If you knew what those guys make...particularly Trahan back then you would understand.

That is correct, Blake Trahan was one of his recruits. Let's remember folks, Trahan has a child with serious medical problems. He needed a job that actually offered good benefits for his family, so he wasn't on his way out the door. The guy could recruit period.

    Our World Series ?!?!

You _____ed, moaned, whined and gripped soooo much last time when we threw one of our better pitchers. So, this time, we throw:

Adam Derouen 3.00 ERA but with only SIX innings on the year. He one hits the Leopards in four innings.
Mark Baughman 10.80 ERA with only ONE AND ONE-THIRD innings on the year. He lets the Leopards have one walk but no hits in two innings.
Graham Ahlrich 6.75 ERA with only twelve innings on the year. He gives up 2 unearned runs on three hits in three innings.

In summation, Coach Goff threw your arrogant stuff back in your face and beat the Leopards with the very very very bottom of our pitching staff!!!!!!!

ULL pitched the best of the best of your relievers. So, a very appropriate analogy would be that ULL threw their "ace" relievers against our "weekday" relievers.
