    I didn't research this claim but I'm pretty sure Marlin has an excellent home record in the dome. But the rest of your analysis is spot on.

    I would say Bob is average or slightly above at this stage, not below. His D1 winning percentage is a winning one. Things like academics are considered in that evaluation. Believe it or not, the average salary for coaches is 500 M$ in this league. Not saying any of them deserve it. That is the market. In the big picture, basketball still means a lot more nationally than the diamond sports and that sets the market.

    With the make up of his roster, it is almost impossible to win on the road! I mean who would run a team with two PGs; one scholarship and one walk on.

    This one was written on the wall. He should have never been signed after a terrible sophomore JC season.

    Wooten signed early (with Corey Davis), but there were rumors he might not join the program before he eventually did after struggling from the perimeter as a JC sophomore and needing to get some academic work done.
