Yep. Very poorly played tonight. Great opponent...but we didn't show up.

In a rare change of events, hitting has be triangle not been the problem. Timely hitting, yes, but I'm not worried s out how we are swinging this weekend. Lee and Harris will give us a chance to win tomorrow.

Yea we need to be playing for a series win at this point. Nothing wrong with 2-1 vs. SLU. A 2-2 week also wouldn't be the end of the world. But I don't want to think about that

The number of runs in a single game doesn't mean much. What happens if we win tomorrow by 1 run? Do we get penalized because we lost 12-4 tonight? NO

Tonight, yes. Their center fielder has kept 6 runs off the board.

They are a solid team. There's no doubt about that. They have been great on defense tonight too. 2-2 this week would not be bad, but we have hit well enough to be 4-0. I really like our chances tomorrow if we pitch and keep up our offensive efforts.

Our pitching tonight has just been head scratching. No one was really effective save Huval who mysteriously disssapperared.
