Florida will start charging for tickets in the next year or two. They will be doing a renovation of the stadium as well. There was talk of starting to charge for tickets but there was little backlash from some of the fans, they thought they were charging because the team was now winning. I think they will 50% of their fan base once they start charging. To me more than 50% of the crowd was senior citizens and probably did not attend UF. If those senior citizens have a fixed income, I doubt that they buy tickets. Just my thoughts, no real proof.

So the fact that Florida athletics is so rich it does not need to charge for softball mean to you the softball program is underfunded somehow?
