Not too bad. That collapse against Texas Tech was a huge blown opportunity. They are killing it this year. The Rice win is looking better and better also.

It's true. Those wins would have helped a lot.
Be that as it may, this is the week that we either make a statement or we make off-season plans early. Good RPI games on the road, good RPI games at home. We have to win at least 3 of the 5 games.

I'll be ecstatic with 3 wins this week. And that's no stab at the Cajuns, but more of a pat on the back of Louisiana baseball this year. There are very few slouches in the state this year.

Amen to that. Especially along the I10-12 corridor. Although NW St is doing north la proud at 31.

Hell, we have 5 games against top 75 teams this week, a 4-1 week would be really big.

Several state teams are better than expected. Northwestern is one of them. UNO is starting to come back to the pack, but no one expected them to be any good. Tech is considerably better as well. And, we thought McNeese would be better and they're starting to win regularly as well.

Southeastern, with their weekend pitching, will be a bey-otch this weekend. I think they're back to leading the nation in ERA.

Southeastern at #3 in ERA now, behind Houston and Creighton. We're at #22

SLU is also top 20 in OBP and top 50 in scoring and slugging, so they can hit too
