That would be correct. But would not recreational sports/activities include bowling, and other sports? What would that have to do with sanctioned NCAA sports? Recreational Sports/Activities would seem not to apply NCAA sanctioned sports, but there are a lot of services covered.

As the number of retired Boomers increases every day---this might be a way to get some cheap experienced retired employees kinda on a volunteer basis---Unlike some with low tech qualifications (ahemmm), we have people that can do it all and wouldn't mind doing some volunteer type stuff for the athletic department---in fact if they liked it, maybe take over their positions!!! lol Seriouly, we have some former athletes and alumni that love their school and are ready to give more than just their money to help the athletics Department!!!

Ask them to work for free until you can create an opportunity to pay them. Wouldn't you do anything you can to help UL boom?

The companies I've worked for have had consultants since 1978.

The optimist in me says they wouldn't have done this if they weren't somewhat serious about getting it right.

The difficult part will be finding a way to open the purse strings to make the investment necessary.

There isn't any program at UL to engage retired UL fans as volunteers. There should be but none.
