There isn't any program at UL to engage retired UL fans as volunteers. There should be but none.

LSU charges their students for tickets since they, like us, do not have a student athletic fee. One thing to keep in mind on that though is whether or not there would be a plunge in attendance.

This may have been answered already, I'm pages behind, but I always was under the impression that it was one of the Union and/or UPC fees. Basically, UPC is paying your ticket into games.

If attendance plunges, revenue would still go up, because every student that does come pays for a ticket.

I image some might think that way but it's a facility fee, same as it is for the student union or Moncla indoor facility. Otherwords it's not considered direct institutional support.

I could be wrong but pretty sure they have a substantial athletic fee, I know for a fact they used to

Nah, I have two grandchildren there and there is no athletic fee. One of them doesnt care about football and the other one does thus is required to purchase tickets if she wants to attend the games.

We're nowhere close to an end, and anyone that thinks Lafayette won't be immensely affected by the demise of the O&G industry is wishful thinking.

Even if you are correct (and I believe you are), it is vital to follow through on this Plan vigorously, as, if successful, it will vastly broaden our base and make us far less dependent on the Lafayette economy.

Several items are appropriately tagged as immediate. (The consultants were being kind not to write the words 'past due') Still it's never too late to start the next leg of this journey. Most of the needs mentioned have a price tag attached. Like choosing which items in a capital budget move forward first apply an ROI to each one to prioritize resources. Then let's pick some low hanging fruit. For example, how about we immediately settle on a ticker? The suggestion of using LARC is well intentioned but... perhaps instead go with LRC as suggested earlier in this thread.
