Let's hope TPTB don't break the new toys.

Just for the record this is not the entire report. Also, I've been told that UL will retain the services of the consultants going forward.

  6. Default UL Lafayette to use independent analysis to improve athletics

The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns® will build an even stronger athletics enterprise with the help of an independent review of its operations.

I hope it includes analysis of UL's previous "strategic five-year plan."

I looked at the majority of the report and I think there are a lot of great things here. But you grab a sampling of RP'ers, put them in a room and have a focus group. They will tell you the same thing, just in a less formal way.

We know what needs to be done... and we would have been a lot cheaper.

I didn't read the whole thing, but if you scroll to the end they have feedback from schools like App State, Troy, Akron and ULM. Right after that, they have a few pages on our "branding" issues.

Much to absorb in just the 'Branding' section, but so far this really sticks out to me:

"LARC" as a 'ticker' instead of ULL. LARaginCajuns.

After a cursory review, the obvious item that stood out to me was Student fees
    Ar. State generated $4,567,829
Conference USA ( assume it was an average) $9,388,836

I would rather ULA than LARC.

Everyone does realize what the other LARC stands for right? I don't need to explain the level of jokes that would be made.
