Just saw this as well....hmmmm......
Just tweeted out "It was fun being at UL.. everything happens for a reason".
Both had the same idea.
April fools?
Let's go find another poor guard to come in and sign late.

5.6 ppg/48 3s as 6-2 JR.
6.7 ppg/.397 3PT%/62 3s as SO.
Statement from Coach Marlin: "Hayward has asked for and has been granted his release for next season. We wish him the best in his future endeavors."
Oh well, he was a 3 point shooting specialist who all in all, wasn't that good at shooting 3's. Very Replaceable
Find one that can score.

Sometimes I wonder about the timing of these decisions. Obviously, I nor anybody here are speaking with Register nor do we know why he is making this decision personally but I would imagine that he would be excited about the upcoming year and the amount of time he would likely get with several key contributors graduating. It's like why make this decision now?
It's a reality. Elfrid was a diamond in the rough. Stove is pretty good as a combo guard and Wright should be a 2 because he commits way to many turnovers.
But in general, outside of Elfrid we have been extremely weak at the guard position.
Register will have to sit out.
"Air" Register lost his touch this year. Was beyond terrible and seemed like basketball was not a priority of his
