According to Strentz's brother, he was going to quit playing if he would not have gotten drafted (or signed) after 2014 season. He was ready to move on.

According to Robe at the last Diamond Club meeting, it is Trosclair. It was Joe Robbins, but he tweaked his nonthrowing thumb catching bullpen. So Robbins is out as emergency catcher and Trosclair is in. Apparently, Trosclair played a little catcher in JUCO.

I'm not going to argue with your opinion, because you are entitled to it. Stefan entered our lineup last year and solidified the defense. He was stellar for the majority of the year. This year has been the complete opposite. That is not evidence of a slump. That is evidence of getting in your own way mentally. I'm aware of the difficultly of the game.

    Interesting..

Funny thing is, that opinion was born during recent conversation. I just so happened to be standing next to Stef's high school coach at the McNeese game. Terry Burrows and Charlie Phillips were also chatting and if you know your history, you know that those guys are pretty familiar with Trosclair. Those gentlemen almost verbatim echoed what I just posted. I'd think those guys know Trosclair and his "on field" persona a lot more than you do..

There's nothing wrong with saying something doesn't fit a guys personality. I wouldn't want to be in his position. Not all players are suited for all roles in the clubhouse.

You, just like everyone here, are prone to jumping to conclusions, as you just did. You fired off that I was WRONG, and provided no context or opinion. Just couldn't wait to tell me how wrong I am.

I didn't "hear" anything. I was having a conversation with these guys. As I've said many times, my father in law played on Tony's '88 team. Stef's coach being involved was the happen stance. I asked their opinion. Traveling with a team does not make you a psychiatrist.

Thanks. I do it all to please you.

You'd be amazed what just showing up and being willing to talk to anyone will do for you in life.

Now crawl back under your rock.

The last entry was interesting. Last year we were ranked 11th nationally in baseball attendance. Yes that is 10 spots behind LSwho but it would have ranked 7th in the SEC, 3rd in the ACC, 2nd in the Big 12 and Big 10 and 1st in all other conferences including the Pac -12. Not bad when you put it in that perspective.
