I don't think this is an issue of confidence. It looks like, in my opinion, a guy that is wilting under the pressure of feeling like he needs to be the leader of a team, when inside, he knows his personality is not conducive to that kind of pressure. Let him sit and watch the team do it without him for a week, ease his mind, and let him relax.

Interesting take. I don't know Trosclair personality, I haven't been around the team on a daily basis , or interacted with anyone to make such a claim or agree. My comments come only come from what I've seen on the field from him and from my past experience of being in hitting slumps and around teammates who were in hitting slumps. Either way, it's a mental issue.

He left year before last.

And, he was good enough to spend spring training with the big boys.

Tros has had 74 official at bats, thats not counting 13 bb and 7 hbp. He leads the team at being in the batters box.

You do realize that the even the best hitters in MLB slump all the time, baseball is very hard, specifically hitting. It's not a cop out. It can be overthinking, it can frustration, it can be lack confidence. Sometimes that's all it is.

I didn't say I know a lot about you. I said you don't know a lot about Trosclair.

I, unlike you, don't jump to conclusions. I'm not sure what It is. BUt in this particular case, I know what it isn't.
