That is not true. The opponents on UL's 2010 schedule will be unchanged. The Oklahoma State game will remain on the schedule. ESPN has requested to move the game back two weeks to schedule Oklahoma State against another opponent on its network. No final word yet on when that game will be.
Regardless of whether it does happen or not, the perception on this next year should not change a whole lot. People put many expectations on last year's team to go bowling or get that winning season. I was more hesitant to do that as it seemed very difficult to predict anything without having the experience at the skill positions to rely on. Not only were we missing the experience, we lacked the overall talent to make plays consistently at those positions. This year is a little different. We will be the most experienced team in the SBC this year in terms of starters returning and we should be more experienced and deeper to help counter injuries. This year, even with Ok. State, 7 wins should be reasonable to expect.
