That would make you an unbelievably ______*y teammate.

50000, which covers airfare and hotel. How does that buy in compare to the others?

Don't watch if you don't want to. It's not complicated.

You always take a post season opportunity.

    Always

The others, contrary to what some are saying on hear, are not buy ins. You put up $50k to guarantee to home games. If you should lose the first one you get $25K back. Also all of your tickets sells go to the home team. So you will make all of your money back. If tickets are $10 a piece you only need 2500 tickets sold to break even. If you play on the you do not put any money up and all of your expenses are covered.

    Agreed.

Some look down their noses at these tournaments. They are probably the same ones that think some bowls are beneath them. I for one am selfish. I'm down to see the Cajuns play anywhere and against anyone. I especially would like to see Shawn lace them up a few more times.

A lot more practice time for vegas 16 (which always seems to be the bowl argument) and time for fans to plan to make trip, i like it

I understand what you are saying, but you are fronting $50K with the hopes of recouping as you advance, that my friend is buy in. It may not be the term people want to use or hear, but it's the same as buying into an investment, just with the promise of a better return. If it wasn't a buy in then you would not be fronting $50K to host a game unlike the NIT.

Dont we want to show we spend more to these big budget conferences? Besides it seems like a very paltry amount in the big scheme of things

You play the game to reward the fans and athletes, but in a time like this you better cover your cost. Last year a few supporters stepped up to move the floor to the Blackham Coliseum.

It is still a better bargain than bringing in Stephen F Austin like some wanted to do or any paying any mid major to come here for one game. Also for all those people that were giving LATech@Ruston reach arounds last week, where did their 23-9 record get them? No not even a sniff of the NIT. CUSA lone representative in the NCAA Middle Tennessee (24-9) is a 15 seed.

Tim Buckley (@TDARaginCajuns) tweeted at 9:50 PM on Sun, Mar 13, 2016:
CBI tourney field set; UL not in it. CIT remains a likely possibility for the Cajuns bball team (same tourney as last year).
