I am not for the meaningless tourneys. However, should we get into one, I'd be happy SL has a chance to showcase himself a couple more times.

That is not the way basketball players think. They want to play as many games as possible regardless of the significance of the tournaments.

For future marketing purposes, you must do everything you can to keep the post season string alive.

I would think that guys that have a possible career in basketball would think differently.

And Shawn just had two of his best games in terms of showcasing his ability for scouts. He would have NOTHING to gain by participating in the CIT, or whatever else.

Of course, thats my opinion and I may be wrong. And like I said in my first post, "If I were Shawn".

Shawn Long is going to play in the tournament if we go. He just said on Twitter they're waiting on word about a postseason tournament but there's a good chance they will.

Im with you. The money we save by not playing in a buy in tourney could go to buying Marlins contract out or better yet, buying Farmers out.

The Women already have a WBCIT invitation, but were hoping for a shot at the WNIT. I don't think they will get that shot.

I did. I got a good laugh. Even Alice shoe fans don't like Guilbeau.

Anyway, they are staying home from the postseason completely per their coach.
