While the team is playing much better as of late, we have to remember that these next 10 games are tough games with many on the road. I don't see this team going better than 5-5 or 6-4 in those games and that will not save Lee's job especially since they would have to win the conference tourney to do so. I just don't think they will have enough in the tank to get that feat done but it is possible to win the West. Nobody should really be concerned though as many here don't think we have the talent to do it anyhow......

For the umpteenth time, Coach Lee's contract expires at the end of THIS season. For him to get an automatic renewal, he has to get to the NCAA tournament. The only way that can happen is for the Cajuns to win the conference tournament. Getting to the finals of the conference tournament is not good enough to earn the automatic extension. They must win it.

Would be fun though! If I could guarantee you a birth in the NCAA tourney this year, under the notion that you had to sign Robert to a three year extension today, would you do it? I think I would...it's been a long time.

And for the umpteenth time, I was agreeing....
