Thread: Preseason Defensive MVP

    UL Football Preseason Defensive MVP

3 nominations plus I am going to add a player Guru bragged on during the recruiting party, just a hunch

  2. UL Football How about Rovers/Whips?

In the defense that we run, it seems that the Rovers/Whips are in position to make alot of plays. I would think that Jamal Smith would be one of the automatic guys to at least be in the poll. C.C. Brown has alot of potential to make plays at Rover/Whip as well.

Ross definitely has a chance to be a huge contributor in our defense, but he's got to regain his form from 2 years ago.

I just don't see Venable and Blappert making huge impacts, but I do think they'll contribute. I think that our 3 best DL prospects for the Fall are Bass, Benson and Haynes. I think that Benson and Haynes will easily be our top 2 DT and Bass might be the best DE we have. He will definitely push Floyd, Venable and James for a starting spot.

Can you add Derace James? A friend told me something that makes me think he will have a breakout year.
