Losing Clement was big. We needed his outfield skills and definitely his plate skills. Our core was very solid. I think we are all a little surprised to find our newbies as far off of D1 ball ready as they are. But the Clement loss is very impactful.

I agree but even without him, we gave ourselves chances and Tulane gave us chances. No one is going and getting the win.

These are not over night fixes. This is very troubling. If Talbot has cart blanche with this offense, I'm not impressed.

The Fontenot play is not routinely made by junior high players. I didn't disagree until you inserted the hyperbole instating that junior high players would have made those plays. The defense definitely needs to be better.

That seems to be a problem for the entire lineup not named Brenn Conrad. Outside of that one at bat, he had a solid game. He is still improving, which is encouraging.

Based off of our offensive productivity, Robbins should be back at short when Clement returns...unless Clement moves to left. Poncho will stay at DH until Sense comes around.
