The Cajuns face questions at quarterback, running back and on both sides of the line
For me, #3 and #4 are the biggest questions. If the Cajuns don't get solid offensive line play, the offense will sputter, regardless of who handles the ball. Defensively, the D line must get pressure. If no pressure, then expect big plays against the LBs and DBs.
Hopefully, #1 should work itself out in the spring. But Hud needs to name a starter after the spring and stick with it up to the start of the first game. Having a defined QB1 should bring about confidence in the young man and should show commitment. Something missed last year.
I don't see #2 as a problem as long as #3 is sound. We have talent at RB. I don't expect there to be issues at RB.
As for #5, see #2 above. If pass blocking is sound, this should buy time for QB1 to find his WRs. As far as recruiting, I am not an expert. Cajuns have a winning season and the recruits will show interest.
Overweight and what appeared to be out of shape OL and DL hurt us last year. I hope we return to a more strenuous spring and fall workout regimen this year (with a new strength and conditioning coach) with more contact and less fear of getting people hurt. It worked for 4 years, then a deviation from that last year contributed greatly to our demise, in my opinion.

Too bad we couldn't snag Curtis Johnson before he took the gig in chicago. I'm sure he would have been out of our price range.
Will a spring football roster be posted anywhere?
The one on the website is listed as a Spring roster:

#57 Angus Sinclair LB 6-4 205 So. Argyll, Scotland Merchiston Castle School Mount Olive (N.C.)
Track Guy (decathlon) working at linebacker...this should be interesting, with his athletic skill set, he should be a demon on special teams.
