He looks lackadaisical. He's dropping an inordinate amount of pitches, is not throwing anyone out, and seems a bit off. Two errors this week. He's thrown the ball over the pitchers head a couple times this weekend. A lot of small things that are making me curious.
I was at the game today and I never thought he looked lackadaisical. He blocked many curves and sliders that skipped in front of the plate. One of their steals was a ball in the "dirt". I also could have sworn I saw him throw a runner out.
You seem to have a lot of inside info so I am guessing you would know if he is hurt.

I watch Thurm more than anyone and yes, something is different with him. Congratulations for making the game today.

Thurm did throw out a runner today. He's fine.

He's 2/12 right now. Last year he threw out just under 50%.

He's doing some things I didn't see much of last year and even made a comment to someone in Box 9 that he was "just taking his eye off of the ball".

My question is a legitimate one.

Calm down man. You see a guy who is ill or injured, me and almost everyone else did not. Really nothing more than that. And I will stand by my comment. If he was injured you would be finding it out from your sources and posting it on here ASAP.

Was able to make Friday night. Clearly remember a steal that was on the pitch, SH just guessed right. That's baseball.

Not trying to be a _____, but the guy has caught EVERY SINGLE INNING so far this season. And no, that is not the norm. I caught in high school and played an amateur baseball league (AABL) in college and catching all 9 innings on back to back days is tough. Much less 3 days in a row, and a 5 game week no less.

Point being, I think you can give the guy some slack. He's hitting over .300 and is the staple behind the plate. I think most of us just find it kinda funny that you or anyone would be thinking something is wrong with him. Most of the time people don't even notice all the work a catcher does because he blocks so many balls in the dirt. It's when they mess up or miss a ball that you notice.

I don't see an injured or ill guy. I'm looking for a reason for what I'm seeing.. Just because 1 poster agreed with your take, doesn't mean "most others" do.

I don't know why you have such a hard on for me and my posts, but the truth is, I've never run here to post something "ASAP". In fact, I don't share most information. Last summer, I went in on Hale, and crushed Hudspeth. Nothing insider about any of that. Don't like it? Don't read.
