That makes 4 Dlineman from last year gone from the team. Luckily we are bringing in 5 this year, 3 of which are Jucos. If the new guys are good players, we should be fine. I also hope Roderick Stephens is back in the mix. He looked good in 2014 and was injured last year I believe. Briscoe had potential but didn't look like he brought it every play.

Blane Winston and Sharrard Johnson are both on target to graduate in May as well. Romaine Douglas is also no longer playing football in the program, so that is actually 5 Def. linemen gone. Stephens is going to participate in spring football.

Who get's the extra 4 scholarships or are those accounted for with this last class or ncaa penalty? This sort of thing happens everywhere in the spring semester. One has graduated (and is entering workforce), another has shoulder problems (yet another shoulder problem for this team) that would keep him from playing, one of the other two hardly saw the field.

UL has 22 scholarships to give every year under the probation.

This is still 4 more than they can ever use.
