"the flaming peppers..."
We need to ditch the peppers and pull a gator from the swamp or bring back the bulldog, hell, just pull a coonass form the swamp and give him some beer...
I always wanted to literally have a "ragin cajun". A coonass with a six pack and a some overalls looking really ____ed.Originally Posted by locoguano
I dont mind the pepper though, but it could be better

I for one like this pepper, but I think I'd like the cajun man better......... as a mascot. We can add the cajun man as a logo, but keep the pepper as we have it now.
Problem with having the cajun man as a mascot, is in this ACLU-gimme my rights-sue happy culture we now have, a cajun man is too easy of a target for those who want money or have a chip on their shoulder. You see the ____ that schools with Indian nicknames have to go through. Heck, it doesn't matter that Cajun culture was/is the dominant culture of the region. Anyhoo, you get my point.
God Bless
GEAUX UL!!!!!!
saw the same hat at the lids in the mall of acadiana, didnt really like it and this is why:
i think the pepper looks good as itself i dont think we should try to turn it into a human or put life into it. it looks weird with arms and without legs. keep in mind that it is the apostrophe on the Ragin' Cajuns logo. it is incorporated in our name, its not who we are...
as for the mascot, i will say it again
BRING BACK MR CAJUN
That's what I was thinking, but couldn't articulate.Originally Posted by ULforlife
