The poll that dropped us from #6 to unranked got it right. Hello loneliness.
Well, we don't deserve to be ranked. If we are ranked by any pole now, I would deem it to be a fraud. Our boys have a lot of work to do. Here's to Hoping RObe can work his magic and all the new guys understand that they are going to need to step up to earn the GRINDERS name.
It wasn't just the baseball team that didn't show up. The Advoverts decided LC wasn't worth the drive.
No worries guys:
"We get everyone's best crowd when we go on the road because they wanna see their team beat a ranked team"
"We get everyone's top arm because they're gunning to beat a ranked team"
"It's a mid-week game, doesn't mean as much"
"It's baseball, fans just don't get it"
"We're young"
The truth to all of this B.S. above is that we are tender. We have no fight. We tinker so much due to uncertainty because our recruiting didn't pan out. WE CANNOT HIT LEFTIES. Wayyy too many holes in this line up. Our base running and fielding is atrocious; like little league quality.
We will go in and sweep Sacred Heart because it's a home series and they are garbage. Need to build on these types of wknd series', try to get some confidence behind our swings.
If we sweep Sacred Heart, we will likely still be ranked. Lose 1 game though, to go along with McNeese loss, we drop out.
Duck the damed rankings. We'd better find some quality at bats.
I haven't seen many quality at bats....it's extremely tough to watch each game get into the 6th or greater w/out any runs and only a Jason Pierre Paul handful of hits
