As much as Karl Benson gets criticized, he was right to do away with the automatic suspension thing. Under the previous commissioner, Robe would have sat out last night's game because God knows, the officials are always correct.

Robe despised that suspension rule, particularly in non-conference games because it hurt our league. He also despised Easter Sunday games. Looks like he got both of those issues addressed with the league.
