Completion % is a very misleading number when you never throw down field. Most of those completions were screens and very short passes. Bottom line is if the kid was the QB folks on here make out to be he'd still be here. We have 2 that the coaches think have better up side than BH does. But what do they know? Every one knows RPers are the experts.

It's not really fair to label an opposing view as a pseudo expert unless you are billing yourself as a bona fide expert. I don't think that is what you are doing here. I'm not either.

Like you I'm just an observant fan with a different set of conclusions. No harm no foul. ... I hope.

To me, with no secondary softening run support to speak of, I find the fact that Haack's percentage was on par with Broadway's and Gautier's numbers to be most impressive.

When you telegraph an offense to the defense and still complete a decent percentage its more impressive than if they had no clue what was coming next.

Huds job is to win ball games, we are short scholarships...let HUD find an academic scholarship fur someone he thinks can help us win.

It really doesn't matter how good or bad your o line is when you are not very good in 7 on 7 drills. He wasn't any better than Nixon at completing passes in those drills with no rush. I have had several conversations with the golden gopher coordinator at the ball park over the last couple of years. Our last conversation was in January this year when I asked him about our QB position in the future he said it was very bright. He thinks once Jordan gets a little more maturity he may be the best we've had under HUD.

You don't always have to believe the Bickanator I can not force you to seek the truth.
Jay Johnson was humoring you, so he could get rid of the weirdo trying to talk offensive packages
    with a goddamn professional.

Jake was clearly the best practice player at USL fall camp. They tried to redshirt him. It took a half to decide that was career suicide. You don't do that with a bad practice player.

NFL doesn't count. Teams play players to make themselves look intelligent. Danny Awful to justify Ditkas top 100 choice. Arron ME Brooks to justify a bad trade. Arron ME Brooks protected against his fragil ego. NFL Europe? Jake vs a potential hall of fame player. None of this says bad practice player.

Just because he was best when it counted most doesn't mean poor practice player.

Everybody looks at JD's legs. They need to pay attention. That last game, I saw him make a couple of throws that were just ridiculous.

Down the field, thread the needle, lasers, on the money....and he made it look effortless.

He's got the skillz. Does he want it bad enough?

I personally never saw Jake practice, my source was Russ Faulkinberry.

I did hear that Jake actually beat out Brooks his last year in New Orleans in training camp but Brooks was getting paid too much to sit, that's when Jake went to Carolina.

In 1999 (I think) on Saints Report I did an extensive expose on Jake and Aaron, and Jeff in the preseason.

All I had to go by was preseason games but it was no contest, Jake made them both look bad.

But there too it was game time, I didn't see practice.
