The first time one of his players, that he believes is D1 talent, is not getting recruited and Cajuns come snooping around, will he remember that statement? And if he does, if the kid wants to be considered by UL, does that hurt him as a coach? If this coach has ANY real time in service, he knows the game. Sour grapes.

Not ____ing around with the depth chart leaving his limited skill set on the bench for games while you try out a running back at the QB position (is that the limited skill set you are talking about?) would possibly have given us more wins last year. You still feel comfortable with your limited skill set bull____? The first three words of your post tell every goddamn thing we need to know about your opinion.

Hawk, what everyone seems to forget is our Offensive line was terrible....I don't think anyone would have looked good.

The answer is no, he would not ban Texas or Texas A &M, or any Texas program because he would be limiting opportunities for his athletes. He's just ____ed that Beverly's one shot at FBS football decided to drop him, he signed with Southeastern Louisiana.

He wasn't dropped last minute. Beverly did have over a month's notice prior to signing day. If there was any interest from any of the other 129 FBS programs it would have happened. Apparently their was NO greyshirt offers either.....nothing. Greyshirt is now common place to add extra players at FBS levels mid term, this says something very clear about Beverly's perceived talent level projections at the FBS level. 0 out of 130 stepped up with any FBS offers with 5-6 weeks notice.

And that's when a lot of visits take place so he had time. You would think his loud mouth coach could have got him a couple FBS offers or at least visits.

If Munoz would have told the player-coach about the impending scholarship reductions, this article would have never been written.

The whole process is flawed.. but football isn't the only one. Baseball is pretty jacked up as well.. not only the college part but the MLB side too.

Someone needed to write a story to fill a spot in the paper.

Did we actually cut back O L offers, or just your spin.

Seems like we needed immediate help. Good big men area far more valued commodity than almost any other position. We didn't have time to red shirt and develop him. Hud's fighting for his programs life.
