Can you believe that!!!!! An offensive set by a Jessie Evans team? I mean you would think with this X&O genius we have now could run a set play!!!

But the double clutch by Dwayne Mitchell over Johnson from UNT was legit. Mitchell IMO is easily the best in game dunker to ever where the Cajuns uniform.

I watched Alonza Allen and he was an artist, but for shear ferocity of dunks I don't think anyone beat DM. JMO

Thanks! "Misremembered" the sequence of the Mich St/ Kansas wins! I was also at that Tenn game. And BP absolutely needs to be in the UL HOF! I can't believe he is not already in. He may have been the best BB coach in our history, although Ship would certainly be the sentimental favorite for that spot.

Also, I was visiting friends in the Washington DC area the night we beat #1 Georgetown in the Great Alaska Shootout & listened to the end of the game on the GU radio station. That was awesome!
We actually beat Kansas and Florida to win a Sugar Bowl tournament. The year we beat Michigan State, we lost in the finals. It may have been to Mississippi State. We beat Tennessee one year in the first round and lost to Pittsburgh in the finals.

Mitchell was a ferocious dunker but Alonza Allen had the best entertaining dunks this program has ever seen. He played from 80 to 84 so you may not have seen him.
