Thread: Clement Ties School Record As Cajuns Complete Sweep Of Bearkats

  1. Ragin' Cajuns Clement Ties School Record As Cajuns Complete Sweep Of Bearkats

Senior outfield Kyle Clement tied a school record with five hits as the sixth-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team exploded for 13 runs on 17 hits to complete the sweep of Sam Houston State with a 13-3 victory on Sunday at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field._

Just a question or an observation. Last year Clem batted 3rd and Tros batted 4th and all went well once they set that order. This year they switch it. I would assume to protect Tros since they figure there are scouting reports on him now. But if you put Sensley's presence behind Tros in the 5th hole that would be a tough trio to pitch 2. Plus a lefty righty lefty scenario. Just curious on others thoughts?

I believe you keep Sensley in the 6th hole to help him see more fastballs. The word on him is he hasn't quite gotten used to the division I breaking ball. We saw this weekend what he does with fastballs.

So does a Cajun boy from Jeanerette actually pronounce it Cle-ment? Because in Vermilion Parish we say Clay-maw. I understand BT pronouncing his last name as Tray-han as he's from Kinder and didn't know any better. But a Cle-ment from Iberia Parish? Does not compute.
