Thread: Louisiana at Texas St

I just fell completely off the Marlin wagon tonight. I've been pretty much ok with him for most of his tenure, but lost a lot of confidence in him the last few years. But I kept hoping he'd get the program rolling. However, it seems every time we seem to start a roll (after the usual sluggish season start), we seem to always find a way to lose games rather than find ways to win. This has been happening too often for it just to be "bad luck". My expectation for the rest of this season is not very good. I doubt we beat USA & I am not confident against Troy - as sad as that seems. Don't think we finish higher than 3rd or 4th. Next year doesn't look like we'll be improved at all, especially with the loss of Long. If we don't do anything in the SBC tourney, I really feel it will be time to look for new leadership.

Likeable high paid coaches paying off huh? Hold on to the rope as we drag Shawn down and ruin his draft status.

No, his draft status isn't viewed by what we do.

I get just as frustrated as you do with the losses and the conference, but in all fairness, football and basketball have a steeper hill to climb. Baseball and softball is a more level playing field at this time.

Not looking for an argument at all. Can you explain why? Football has had FCS join the SBC the last couple years and we can't even beat them. Baseball and Softball consistently been ranked top 10 and actually beaten top 10 teams

Several days of strong practice at the charity line. I have said it and I will say it again, you win game at that line. We lost the last two game because not hitting the free ones.......

I was getting pumped up for basketball, but now the air is out of the balloon. I just moved over to baseball mode. Especially after last night and today's game.

The wind is out of the sails for a lot of fans, myself included. Let's hope that the same cannot be said for the team.

    Seems like a sane choice.

It's something that is hard to teach. Look no further than "hack-a-Shaq"

Don't worry, in a few weeks someone will be telling us how great the whatever tournament we w h *** ourselves into is.
