Up until this point, we were 1-16 from 3. Nobody at this level simply shoots like that because they are off, give LR some credit.

Blame all the people folks want, bottom line LR is just that good on both ends of the court. Probably one of the better teams in the dome the past few years, definitely a better TEAM than the princess and company. They could make noise is they make the big dance. Deliberate with the clock, other than our mental lapses on the pick and roll, they didn't look at the rim usually until the shot clock had 10 seconds left, and then, made many then.

Not even close to 7,000 last night.

The Zebras let a lot of contact go on both ways.

The total foul count IMO said let um play.

Seems like every time we've played a team that can be considered as good or better than us, we've shot poorly. Coincidence?

We went 3-19 from 3pt. range. This alone was more than enough to doom us against a good team. You can't shoot like that and beat a good team.

The good news is that there's no question that if we play a good game we can beat this team. I look forward to seeing them in the Tournament Finals, and I like our odds.
Crazy that 4-19 probably wins the game since there would be no forced fouls at the end.

    There's your ballgame.

If those 2 guys just have a bad game instead of an atrocious one, we win.
1 of 10 from 3pr from those two

    OR

    3 of 15 from 2pr

    and UL probably wins.

They were better, and we didn't hit shots. It's as simple as that. Hope they get beat in the tourney so we don't have to see them again. But if we do, I think we got em.

How long that Lul'Rock coach been there? Surely it takes six or seven years to turn a basketball program around.

Well at least GSU is proven to be a flash in the pan.

We were no more contested in outside shots than on any other night. Long and Washington were certainly taken out defensively inside. I give LR that credit. Why our outside shots go that cold against better programs (taking away the obvious defensive fronts) is purely mental/emotion. I do not want to take away the 9-0 run by complaining about y-day... but no doubt... we were colder than normal from the field. I know where you're heading with coaching. I didn't really think coaching was responsible for the poor outside shooting. We did fail defensively (technically - not effort wise)... but I think LR is pretty dang decent. No one in the SBC can have an off day and beat them.
