The refs were consistent tonight. The few traveling calls that were made tonight we mostly from shuffling from a set position, rarely in the flow of the move. I'm not saying they were correct calls, they were consistent.
LR was and is the better team. When #3 made me think of Bo in the first half, that game was over. Kid was nails. Throw in a 6-9 that played guard, we were fortunate to get it close. And it came down to, once again, guard play.
Casey's injury must be bothering him, missed the rim a few times tonight. Shawn was fortunate to get his double/double, he had a big on him all night.
Sorry, can't pump sunshine on this one.
How does one say we had no chance? One possession game and we had the ball. Our 3pt shooting left us tonight, Long only had 12 pts and we were still within a possession. Jay says it all the time, the other team gets to play too. And remember that this is a team that has only lost 3 games.
Not mad about this loss, not happy with it but its not a deal breaker. Take care of our remaining games and get at least the 2 seed and we dont play until Saturday in the tourney.
Little Rock won't beat this team on a Saturday or Sunday in New Orleans in March with everything on the line.
Period.

Outstanding LR defense all night. Nothing came easy. Last play was disrupted by a LR knock away. I also thought Register was significantly fouled on that last shot...
Attendance around 5300 officially... But they don't count the free entries (kids with jersies and kids with Young Ragin' Cajuns Card). I think there were close to 7K this evening...
Not going to pump sunshine, but this was the absolute best game we could lose. Didn't anyone think they would extend the win streak to the end of the season? Thursday's game was much more important. We do not want to lose to the teams behind us and let them catch us. Lets see how the season plays out, at this point we can still be the number 2 seed. The 1 & 2 seeds have byes until Saturday, that is what we are playing for right now. I would be very happy going in as the number 2 seed.
