What is there not to like about this game? It only took me one game (vs App State) to discern that this is one of the best (if not the best) Cajun team in at least the last 10 years. Extremely deep, quality play on the offensive end, a double double machine in the middle, and they play better than most on defense. Shawn Long could be the best "modern era" player to wear a UL basketball uniform and I dare say one of the greatest/most decorated athletes to pass through the school in the last 20 years (that would make for a great thread)...especially when his heads screwed on right....

First place at stake, home winning streak, forget golfing, fishing, kids birthdays, and for God's sake, whatever the wife has planned and get your butt to this game. I would, but I"m 800 miles away...

Cajuns line is sitting at -2. Which is the smallest line at home this season. We've routinely beaten the opposition by double digits this year at home. I feel this line should've been at -4 but looks like it was slightly lower due to the respect given to UALR after a loss. They haven't had back-to-back losses this year as you can also see they haven't had many losses at all (4).

We need to play soundly on the defensive end and limit their 3 pt % to under 30. We will need to use the boards to gain an early advantage. If we can keep a lead in this game going into the mid-2nd half, I see the Cajuns having this one in hand.
