Biggest problem was not having many of the players that made up those top classes. This year our o line should have had Joseph Brunson, Jeremy Sparks, and possibly a few others. We also had weak QB play. I can promise you our season would have played out differently if we wouldn't have had the gap in lineman due to attrition that we ended up with. That being said, I like the young bulls that we have and I think o line will be solid for the next several years.

Attrition and injuries killed two key positions for the Cajuns OL and WR over the past few years. Brunson, Billich and Sparks would have been starters for the Cajuns. Tarver, Dugger and Drew Moore were just not very good signees.

Dylan Bossier and CJ Bates were sent packing and Lorenzo Cryer was moved to CB. Add those to the injury to Jared Johnson and we had too many freshmen WR in the depth chart this past season.

After the top 20, these rankings are always bull___. I would say that even if we were ranked higher and I have in previous years. When two guys move from three star to two star simply because they sign with us, you know they are meaningless. It is better to recruit to your needs and your system than to "stars".
