Looks like a great kid, and who better to have as a mentor than Coach Mike Desormeaux?

I haven't had to look up the meaning of a word in a long time! Thanks!

You gotta love a Cajun QB with a Cajun name. Just the ones I can think of since I've been watching us play (hope I didn't miss any):

    Prudhomme
    Schexnayder
    Delhomme
    Gautier
    Desormeaux

    Now Arceneaux.

    Poo-yie!

If you're going with Cajun names, it's tough to beat Jacques Boudreaux.

Agreed. I was just going for QBs, but that might be the most Cajun name ever.

Donnie Schexnayder (sp?) from Groves, TX in the 80s.

George Coussan from the 1970 team.

Schexnayder is probably a German name. I was told by a lady with that name there were 29 different spellings of it.

I'm in on a UL quarterback named Jake. It worked great last time.
