That last 10 minutes when down 11....Long was flat out awesomeness to listen to on radio pup. This is when he piled up most rebounds, several were offensive. He found his stroke from the line.....We all knew he was very good, last night he raised that bar higher.

Credit to ULM.....1st 30 minutes they shot well, over all 45 minutes very few turnovers.

They can have Ben Simmons.. Gimme Shawn Long. The guy grabbed the ball and told ULM to phugg OFF! Man that was awesome.

---Man Richard coaches ---So involved---Can't believe how Monroe turned their talent around so quickly after their semi probation---They do have some damn good talent but I guess the "RED TEAM" does also!!! lol

I thought the same thing. They have real players.

I really hate to admit it, but ULM has a really good team and Keith Richard is a good coach. Cajuns are just a little better!

Because of our man in the middle.. Going forward, we may be in trouble..

I'm not sure that will be true regarding ULM. Last night they started 4 Seniors and 1 Junior if I remember correctly. In addition, they only played 6 guys total players during a game that featured a 5 minute overtime period! That leads me to believe that ULM may not have players on their bench that Coach Richard feels comfortable with.

UL Basketball Re: Long leads Cajuns in dramatic overtime win

ULM played 6 players, their starting 5 consisted of 4 seniors and a Junior.
32 Justin Roberson (SR), 5 Jamaal Samuel (SR), 13 Majok Deng (SR)r, 11 Nick Coppola (JR), 2 DeMondre Harvey (SR), 1 Travis Munnings (FR)

Lets not sell our guys short just yet. Lets see how Stove, Washington develop with Plaisance in the middle. Lets also see how ULMost does next year with these seniors gone. I do agree we are better with Long and he will be a huge chore to replace him, ok you will not replace his numbers.

He contributed more than numbers last night. He contributed fire. An alpha dog. A mother phugger saying 'THIS IS MY HOUSE!'

I agree with all of that, but do not know who will step up next year. ULMost has 5 SR and 4 FR this year, lets see how they react next year.
