That last 10 minutes when down 11....Long was flat out awesomeness to listen to on radio pup. This is when he piled up most rebounds, several were offensive. He found his stroke from the line.....We all knew he was very good, last night he raised that bar higher.
Credit to ULM.....1st 30 minutes they shot well, over all 45 minutes very few turnovers.
They can have Ben Simmons.. Gimme Shawn Long. The guy grabbed the ball and told ULM to phugg OFF! Man that was awesome.
I really hate to admit it, but ULM has a really good team and Keith Richard is a good coach. Cajuns are just a little better!
I'm not sure that will be true regarding ULM. Last night they started 4 Seniors and 1 Junior if I remember correctly. In addition, they only played 6 guys total players during a game that featured a 5 minute overtime period! That leads me to believe that ULM may not have players on their bench that Coach Richard feels comfortable with.
ULM played 6 players, their starting 5 consisted of 4 seniors and a Junior.
32 Justin Roberson (SR), 5 Jamaal Samuel (SR), 13 Majok Deng (SR)r, 11 Nick Coppola (JR), 2 DeMondre Harvey (SR), 1 Travis Munnings (FR)
Lets not sell our guys short just yet. Lets see how Stove, Washington develop with Plaisance in the middle. Lets also see how ULMost does next year with these seniors gone. I do agree we are better with Long and he will be a huge chore to replace him, ok you will not replace his numbers.
