As happy as I am to see the old infield ones go, I hope they be recycled: they might not be the newest, but surely they can be put use somewhere else. Cajun courts? Ect.

You know, those seats where the poles are coming out are dam good now! If I didn't already have season tickets I'd be snapping those up!!!!

Hoping that the new lights provide more light to the field.

I was at a game a few years back and a foul ball went right into the lights on the first base line and it rained glass down on a few of us. Crazy

Fans will not believe the difference. Unless you have been to games at other stadiums, with legitimate lighting, you don't realize how awful the lighting at Tigue Moore is (was)! The difference should be like night and day.

You may have noticed that UL had to bring in some additional lighting to host the Regionals and Super Regionals two years ago. The reason - lighting was terrible and not suitable for TV and championship baseball.

I was there also. My first instinct was to shield my beer from falling glass even though my wife and kids were sitting next to me. I caught a bit of grief over that one.

If no one got hurt that day, it's a miracle. It was a usual crowd and it RAINED glass. Of all my years in section A, I was always waiting for that to happen. Felt like slow motion.
