Maybe we don't need to raise more funds, just find contractor company donations for work. Between Gerald and Harris, they can get that done. But, there has to be a recognized need first and I'm not sure it is there within the AD's office.
We could go faux bricks like baseball scoreboard. It'll look awesome from CD Blvd.

Doubt he's getting those dollars for looks instead of needs.

Some of you guys are dullards plain and simple.
Wtf does that have to do with my name ?
And congrats on taking personal shots at people on an internet message board. I bet your one tough dude!

I think after all that has been done and spent, anyone complaining or asking for more should have to go out and raise it themselves.

Sorry didn't know that was your real name. Your statement is still just plain dumb.

Well since this thread is about to get ugly, why don't I throw more fuel on the fire?

This is exactly why I wish they would have held off on the end zone expansion until we actually needed it. The insides of the APC and the T&F complex are close to first class. The outsides look terrible. Plain and simple. We could have used that end zone money to build facilities that were truly first class - inside and out. And as I predicted, all the predictions of "if we build it they will come" have most certainly not come true.

But what's done is done. The money is gone, and it's unrealistic to think we have a million bucks lying around to improve it. If the money was there they would have spent it already. But maybe a few years down the line they'll find a way to dress it up.

With that said I'm still really impressed with what we've been able to do facilities-wise. In a couple years every single sport will be playing in either brand-new or newly-renovated facilities.

That's your opinion that the outside looks terrible. To each their own. The cox building looks terrible. I'd like a little something different on the APC but I certainly don't view it as terrible. I actually like the T&F additions.

It may be a tad early to poo-poo the "If they build it they will come" thought process as we haven't actually had a signing class as yet with the facility finished.

Same here. Just because something is not all red brick does not make it ugly.

Think he was talking about the stadium. I'm really very impressed with the end zone project. It was as densely populated as any place in Cajun Field.

When the upper deck gets demolished where are the four hundred season ticket holders there going to sit. Well it could have been the East and we don't play day games.

I have long thought that the very best recruiting carrot exists while the facility is being built.

"You can recruit better to imagination than reality."

However you are still correct. These completed facilities will pay huge dividends.

We won't know the full impact until the 2015 class are 5th year seniors.

Can anyone post pictures (not video) of the new T&F/Soccer stadium, the APC, and inside the Football locker room? There is nothing on RaginCajuns.com
