When we were doing nothing...or close to it, I could understand the bi___ing and complaining. Now with SO much having been done...new IPF, new athletics center, new softball stadium, new softball hitting facility, new soccer/T&F facility, new scoreboard, new end zone seating, new RV sites...we still have bi___ing and complaining. It wears on people.

Agreed. And to answer another of frenchies questions, I could be wrong but I think the two panels on either side of the entrance are just part of the design, and not for signage, etc.

I'm not a fan of the exteriors of our recent upgrades. If we are going to invest in facility upgrades, at least spend a little extra to make them look nice from outside.

Bingo.... As a matter of fact it is my understanding that the admin went above and beyond in trying to accommodate some budget over runs for baseball.

My daughter has spent time in the APC and she says its complete except for some very minor touches. It's 99.8% done and I'd bet money they are waiting for the break to make it easier on all parties. I would not expect any exterior work to happen until Cox comes down and that only makes sense. Why bring in heavy equipment now and cause a major disruption and unneeded cost.

They are using the T&F facility but unsure of completion level. Good enough to use though.

We have spent lots of money on upgrades but what have we gotten for this. The APC seems to be a very expensive distraction. The building is ugly as sin. They team this season was given all this wonderful new stuff and what did they give us back for it? A very sad football season.


Now basketball season is upon us and we can't beat any big teams. Our facilities for our student athletes are as nice as most but we are still getting our butts whipped.

The ladies seen to be getting things done. Maybe we should lock the guys out of all the new facilities until they earn their way back in! I guarantee that Robichaux will have his boys ready. What is the reason we don't expect the same of Hud and Marlin? Humid gets paid as much as the baseball staff gets paid. Marlin gets paid more than the entire women's softball and basketball staffs all put together. It's time to light a fire under his rear end.

In reference to your first paragraph complaint, I've notified the Athletics Department that you are unhappy with the exterior of the APC...and that you are willing to put up funds to make it look however you want it. Please drop by whenever possible with a check so they can get started. Oh...and they said...thanks a bunch!!

If I can't get "ULexite" walls (white)with "Vermilion Red" roof and trim, I have no complaints about anything else.
